That time of year is fast approaching. You are probably scrambling around, making sure you have everything you need before you head off to school. School supplies, dorm room decorations, books, and more can make packing very overwhelming. Here are some simple tips to keep in mind when you are packing up for school.
1. You can always buy things when you get to school. Some school supplies you can buy at the bookstore or at local stores near your campus.
2. Use some sort of plastic boxes to carry all of your belongings in. Going to a store like Walmart or Target and getting inexpensive plastic boxes with lids will help you move in and out easily. Dollies and rolling carts are lifesavers too.
3. When organizing your room, use small plastic boxes to keep things that could easily be lost, together. This works great with jewerly, keys, pens, pencils, etc.
4. Coordinate with roommates about some items. You don’t want 3 TVs that no one uses, or 3 printers for that matter.
Just remember that whatever you do, do what makes sense to you. Don’t forget to take pictures. You’ll want to remember this day for a while.
